Who the bloody hell are they!

You know you've lost touch with contemporary culture when you briefly turn on the weakest link and you have to watch for a while before realising it's a "celebrity" version, and that's only confirmed when you see the ever-present Jade Goody staring back at you.

What a bunch of non-entities, and that's just the ones (the minority) i recognise.

How dare the BBC put rubbish like this on my television. I'm going to write a strongly worded letter of complaint to the British Broadcasting Corporation immediately to express my anger.

Nice to see minorities being represented on the show though. Stan Collymore repesenting violent thugs and vile people in general, John McCririck representing Weirdos (that man is seriously weird), and Jade representing brain-dead chavs to name but a few. And not forgetting the ethnic representation. I don't think those that work in the BBC reaslise that not the whole country lives in a multicultural hel.... heaven and that ethnic minorities don't make up 40% of the population of the United Kingdom.

Who is Reggie Yates? For all i know he could be really famous and i'm the last person to know about him and his no doubt plentiful talents. He looks like that camp bloke who used to do children's telly, what's his name, Andy thingy. Is he the result of a human cloning experiment? I think we should be told.

Broader-band

I 'm waiting patiently for my broadband to be converted from Reliant Robin (see picture left...well it was to the left before i published) to Jaguar (see picture below) this weekend. ADSLMax, or is it MaxADSL, or even MaxDSL is coming! God knows what speed i'll have in a few days. It could be 7Mbit plus, or it could be 512kbps when BT (B*stard Telecom) realise that technically (according to their meaningless broadband availability checker) I may not even be able to get 1Mbit speed let alone the perfectly working, stable, unbootable 2Mbit i am currently on along with an exchange on which has no contention whatsoever.

It should be done on Monday, but with a bit of luck it'll spark into life at the weekend.

Very nice.

How do i make bread and butter?

You'd be amazed how many people find this blog because they are trying to find out how to make bread and butter.

If i use the phrases "how do i boil an egg" and "how do i boil water" my hit count should increase significantly.

Gosh!

I need to add some links.

If, in the unlikely event of that you should think to yourself upon viewing this blog, "this is a half decent blog, I think I'll add a link to it on my own blog" please post a comment and i'll link back.

Hustle (07 April 06)

It goes without saying (but I'll still say it) that tonight's "Queen Mother" episode was the best of this series so far. The opinion shared by many is that this series hasn't been as good as the first two. That is my opinion too. The third series has been good but not quite

reaching the near-perfection of the first two.

I actually missed the first two series, but caught up with them last Autumn by downloading them all and watching both series over a few weeks. I think when they were first broadcast i was watching something else at the time and working a video recorder is beyond my ability. What day was it on? Tuesday? If so then it was almost certainly Most haunted i was watching.

Why?

Who do people create blogs?

What makes them think anybody is interested in reading about their little lives or their opinions on any issue whatsoever?

Rampant egotists, the lot of 'em.

It has to be said, and i'd like to say it.
