Doctor Who

"David Tennant is "committed" to Doctor Who, the BBC insists, despite a report that he is leaving the sci-fi drama. "

I trust the BBC is telling the truth.

After all it's not so long ago that they said...

"Christopher Eccleston is "committed" to Doctor Who, the BBC insists, despite a report that he is leaving the sci-fi drama. "

Most Haunted - Series 8 begins

I was more than a little surprised on Tuesday evening whilst looking for some crumbs oftelevisual entertainment on my Digiguide to find, just fifteen minutes before it began, that a new series of Most Haunted was about to begin. I had caught the odd repeat recently and saw a couple of trailers saying "coming soon". I presumed that meant in January at the earliest. So what a delight it was to find that there was something worth watching.

The episode was at 'Spitbank fort'. It was alright but not overly exciting.
It was good to see Gordon Smith back. I had heard conflicting rumours about his lack of presence in the last series.

I have planned for a long time to write a long post about Most Haunted. Maybe i will work on it soon. I have much to say. It will likely be the longest post i'll ever write, or split into several smaller but still large posts.

Am I the only person who...

watches less television at Christmas and eats less food at Christmas?

I've hardly watched anything at all. The highlight for me was 'The worst Christmas of my life', and i even managed to miss the last part of that. I will download it. Although the first time i tried downloading... something went pear-shaped with the file. I'll try again when i feel the urge.

The most annoying people of 2006 (BBC3)

The moment i saw this programme whilst browsing the evening's channels on digiguide i knew that it wasn't for me.

I can't help but imagine that this programme contains a bunch of talking heads who are themselves annoying people, and that the programme is itself aimed at an audience of people who have created the 'famous' people that the programme claims are annoying. I wonder who the annoying people actually are. I'm sure I could compile a very long list if i took an ounce of interest in celebrity culture.
