Good News

Naseem Hamed has been jailed.

Unfortunately only for 15 months for dangerous driving. Unless he starts hitting people whilst in prison he will no doubt be out by Christmas.

I was amused by the apparent wishful thinking at the Telegraph with the breaking news marquee saying that he's been jailed for 15 years

If only.

I've had a sneaky idea

I have indeed. It's a sneaky plan to increase the number of visitors to this here blog.
I believe i can double the number of visitors within a week (to 2 vistors a day)

Big Brother forum

The Digital Spy Big Brother forum, the site no self-respecting BB fan should be without.
I'll probably be reading it for the next 14 weeks. Whether i shall contribute to the intellectual discussions myself is another issue. Until now i've been a lurker. I only really started reading it last year after the previous group (newsgroup) where i lurked off-shooted into a private clique and thus killed the original group.

According to the producers this year will be the raunchiest BB so far. Now, haven't we heard that before? Like for the previous 6 years?

So, would i be right in presuming we may have to wait a while before a second series of The thick of it appears on our televisions?

Chris Langham is really in the thick of it

Comedy actor Chris Langham has been charged with child porn offences. details here. He was first questioned 6 months ago.

"..15 counts of making indecent images of children"

It says at the end of the article that the charges are linked to the "operation ore" investigation.

Does this mean they are still sifting through the names the FBI gave them years ago?

I've read a little about operation ore on the net and found plenty of talk about innocent people being caught up in the trap. Whether innocent people have been caught in the net or not, it's impossible to tell. I've never been convinced by this "operation ore" business. If UK police were given a list of names of those who accessed a child porn site, why is it taking them so long to investigate them?
